Jeff explains in detail how the RvR campaign now works, with the addition of six massive fortresses that serve as gateways to the capital cities of Order and Destruction. lawl, huge? changes? teir 4 end game, is a joke. new system is a cover up of failed content. the cities are plain and a huge snore fest. Oh yah its teir 5 and the shinney star of the last hope of finding some great game play, but thats yet to be seen, an when it is, only fan boys will hang around for doing the same old same old once more.
Enjoy Fan Boys, because honestly this game has taken MMORPG backwards into evolution.

I've been playing this game since release, and the guys who developed it don't know a damned thing about war.
If 1.1 doesn't have MAJOR changes to the campaign, I will not be resubbing.

I'm playing on the test server. from what I have seen, it will increase activity for a short time - until people have filled their influence bars. Gear drops are not the way to make a long term improvement in open RvR popularity. XP and renown rewards are.
I see nothing to increase xp for RvR. WHich means players still have to choose between RvR and leveling. The great majority will choose leveling.

Ok this is a big mistake. All the high level players will be doing nothing but attacking the contested city. The defenders will never get a chance to just enjoy it. The Trash at Mystic needs to learn a thing or two about the War, then they need to tone down the RvR and make the actual PvE game worth playing.
