i think instead of making decisions too fast, they should do some research and then i'm sure they would change their mind. you wrote the same thing that was in my mind.
i think he is misguided because he is speaking about all the muslims before even learning what the true islam religion is. i agree that there are a lot of people that say they are muslim and what they are doing is just destroying. But you can't make decision about religion by just looking at some people. just make some research about islam and you will see that there is no harm in islam. and it always motivates to work do something good to people unlike he said.
