Speculations swirl in Pakistan about the deal Musharraf thinks he may be able to reach without facing impeachment. But that would be unfair with the people of Pakistan. He's involved in the assassination of Benazir and destroying Pakistan's economy & peace altogether. What's the hindrance in having his court trial. He may try to save himself by exposing some more corrupt politicians. But if the corruption is not dealt with and controlled at this stage Pakistan, I'm afraid is once again nowhere.

Musharraf not only destablized Pakistan and brought terrorism, turmoil and a bad international name, he put back the mnation's development 50 years. As for loting and corruption, Shortcut Aziz and Musharraf's close buddies were as corrupt as anything that Zardari did.Only with the development of institutions can Pakistan move forward.
