I love this movie too! I've seen it a few times and I've always kinda struggled with the meaning of their "first" meeting at the beginning of the movie (post memory erasing). Clementine is a real jerk to him on the train when they both think they're meeting for the first time. Is her subconscious remembering how their relationship ended and now she's continuing to play out that anger unconsciously?

Heh, it's funny, if the only thing you've seen is this trailer, it would seem like some quirky surreal comedy. When in reality, it's one of the most depressing and emotionally moving movies I've ever seen.
