Ok this phenomenon is absolutely real, anyone that has ate alot of acid will tell you its true. I remember I ate like 10 tabs and I saw sound, I could hear what I smelling, and I could hear what I saw.

Let me clarify. Most people do not have or experience synaesthesia. While we might like to imagine what the colour of someone's "aura" looks like, for synaesthesics, it's their reality. For axample, to them, that person's name IS yellow. And it's consistent over long periods of time.

This ia wonderful! I have this a bit and maybe that would explain why I can learn languages so easily and why some words have sensory impact on me. The sound of some languages that the average English speaker precieve as annoying or gutteral make me feel comfortable ,like I can feel them. I think that while sounds and smells trigger memories in everyone, that it is possible for people to have sounds set off all the other parts of the brain.I'd love to see in stereo and hear in 3-D, w/o acid.

i can feel what others are feeling when im around them. which is the closest i believe anyone will ever get to "superpowers."
because that is not a special talent it is called empathy, but i have more of it. some people have more of it than me. synthaesiacrapness is a big lie unless you're real high or something

I can taste molecule flavors with my fingers and hear ultra low sounds with my bones/whole body (planets). I can track the smell of a bargain bin in a store too, hehe. I love being weird.

You know, they shouldn't give out stupid tests like 'what' she thinks each sound 'tastes' like.
They should cover her ears so she can't hear and put her in a room with 10 different doorways and play a sound she has ;seen; before in one of the doorways. She will obviously enter the doorway the sound is coming from without hearing it.
Give her at least 8-10 attempts. If she's incorrect each time, we know she's lying.

obviously u don't understand synethesia..it'd be somethin stupid to lie about. She has to hear the sound in order to see the colour. The different parts of her brain are mixed up unlike other people, that allow her to experience what she does. Read up more..!

Yes, I find this as overdone.
Being a synesthete myself and having been in Asia several times, I know well, that it is much more common there, to be understood perfectly well, in whatever syn you have.
I did not even realise to be different most of the time. But I have to admit, it was mostly in artist-circles.
Yet, at that time I thought it all to be much more common than I know now (even the word synesthesia was unknown to me).
I just thought, their senses work better than hereabout.
