SSD is only good if u have alot of files to see fast such as a post office otherwise for everything else Velociraptors in RAID-0 r the best for speed

I have a new OCZ Core 64 - it is absolutely superb. Runs cold, silent and sustains a very consistent average data rate of 106 Mb/s according to HD Tune.
Why do you want to sit on top of two noisy hot jet engines when one of these drives will do the job.

SSD does NOT need to be defragged. This is utter crap he is talking, they do not work like physical hard drives, there are no heads and platters and aren't affected by seek times. These guys are just bricking it because their business empire will collapse if SSD takes off.

Exactly, they're all scared shitless, since an average (current) SSD has a zero failure lifespan of at least 50 years for the HEAVY user. Mechanical HDs suffer from their first (unnoticeable) bad blocks during its first hours of being powered on. HD deteriorates fast compared to SSD, and this has been lied about for years already, to keep SSD from growing.

I have seen some SSDs with a claimed life span of a million hours which I think is 171 years...
