This is Pixar's new trailer for "UP"!
The film is set to be released on May 29, 2009 and will be the first Pixar film released in Disney Digital 3-D(TM).
"Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate (and a persistent 8-year old Wilderness Explorer named Russell) gives him a new lease on life. Up takes audiences on a thrilling journey where the unlikely pair encounter wild terrain, unexpected villains and jungle creatures"

yeah but the thing is. Pixar are the type of studio where they all sit down around a table before production begins and they'll know exactly what this movie will need and definetly won't need. Trust me on that, Pixar always knows what they're doing. They know exactly what the public will like. And Pixar's the best studio in the world by putting emotion into their characters. As they did with Wall-E! Pixar can acheive anything. They could make a movie about spoons it would still get 10/10 haha

Why do you insist on giving iformation that is simply false, especially when preceded by statements like "trust me..."?
Pixar NEVER knows exactly what they are doing. Toy Story was drastically different in it's first conception. Toy Story 2 was scratched halfway through and rewritten. WALL-E had it's entire 2nd and 3rd acts rewritten while in production. These are just a few examples.
Please, stop talking out of your ass and do 30 seconds worth of research. Imbecile...

Where did you hear that? Toy Story went through a lot of PRE-PRODUCTION changes, to improve it. What do you expect? It was their first film. Toy Story 2 had the same premise from the start, as far as I know. I'm not too sure about Wall-E though.

Those are two hugely different statements. I believe what makes Pixar special is that they embrace correction and improvement. They constantly adapt. The opposite of what you initially said.

Yes, most of the known changes to Toy Story happened during pre-production, but that is still contrary to clj7's comment that they have everything figured out.
Toy Story 2 was initially going to be a direct to video sequel. They had I believe about half of it done, but it was crap, so John Lasseter took over as director and took it all back to the drawing board.
In Wall-E, the humans were initially going to be either aliens, or alien-like devolved humans with an entirely different language.

The Wall-E thing is true, but the Toy Story 2 thing isn't. You're thinking of Toy Story 3. With TS2, Lasseter was there from the start and they had the same plot idea all the way through. It became a theatrical production after Disney was impressed with what they had done. Toy Story 3 was being made independently by Disney, and apparently it was garbage, so after some legal agreements Pixar rehauled it and is currently producing it.

Disney and Pixar are two vastly separate entities, don't confuse them.
Toy Story 2 was initially being made by a secondary production team at Pixar - the first project not supervised by Lasseter. He was on vacation.
Yes, Disney did want it to be released in theaters, but Pixar knew the film had huge problems. Pixar had to bring Lasseter back in 9 months before the release and he threw the vast majority of it out and started over.

I've heard from a couple people who saw sneak previews of the first 45-ish min of the movie (it was unfinished obviously) that its really kinda' sad in that heartwarming kinda' way at the begining.
This is potentially one of the best Pixar movies in a while.
