I found this amazing guy, here in youtube, I think is incredible what he's doing, playing at the same time a complete complex groove, with bass line and cords, and soloing on a regular bass, at that speed, with not effects that I can hear, on one take.. I think he's amazing!

Great hand-work and technique, but no musical value whatsoever. Nevermind the lack of melody, he's not even playing a single interesting pattern. Comprehension has nothing to do with it. There's great playing/creativity and there's mindless shredding; there is a huge difference. One of which is a musically useless ability, the other of which is not.
