This Judge is awesome. LMAO @ 2:28. Judge David Young pulls down his glasses like 'you've got some explaining to do'! Hilarious! lol! I like it when he randomly breaks out in song. I hope he finds out if some litigant is homophobic one day (lol) because I want to see what he'll do to them in front of America. I love him for deciding to come out as an openly gay judge. I doubt a lot of people would have the guts to do that. :)

This is a serious question to the gay community. Why do gay guys (not all of them) talk like that, with a lisp? I mean it's a dead give away that he's gay when he talks. Not looking for a bunch of haters but an honest answer.

I just don't think that this is professional. A straight judge wouldn't be accepted acting like that... why should a gay judge be accepted for snapping fingers and breaking into song and dancing with the baillif? One of my closest friends is gay and I love him, he's amazing, but he's not this exaggerated and 'in your face' and especially wouldn't behave this way in a court of law.

Well, I am gay. 21 years old good looking normal guy. I've never told anyone this before, but despite the fact that I am masculine. I remember this one time when I was in class and they videotaped everyone for an assignment. Well, when I came up, I was so embarrassed because I completely sounded like a girl. It was just awkward because I never heard myself sound like that before. I guess it is like just when I get nervous or something, so trust me, if they sound like that, it's just who they are

I doubt the behavior of any of these televised judges would be acceptable in a real courtroom. On TV, its more about ratings. But yea, I know where you're coming from? I wouldn't be surprised if David Young gets up from the bench one and has the whole courtroom hold on to each other and do the bunny rabbit all the way out of the courtroom down the expressway

I don't have a problem with his sexuality. I just don't think he's funny. He comes across as trying too hard to be funny - either you are or you're not. Here's the rub, as a person of authority - a judge - I expect them all to come across with big personalities, but at least let me believe that you're not acting and in his case his acting is just NOT believeable. STOP THE SINGING WILL YOU! Just take a chill pill and be yourself, miss thing...you might get some real genuine laughs.

this show and this judge have become a joke. i use to like judge david butnow with the"witness box"? please. he seems to have taken overfrom hatchett with the dna tests which i think are an abomination for people tostand up on national tv to find out which one of 5 guys could be the father of their CHILD. hhis courtroom has become a circus. he seems sincere about his love of animals but seems like in real like he's very bitchy and catty. i don't watch anymore.

kittyloder, you make some good points. Also, I'd like to add, it's a bit humiliating/embarassing to the mother for the judge to hold up her child's DNA test and then put it in her face. But hey, these things make money and regards for feelings and emotions don't as much, right?
