I'll say this once. As a HUGE Obama supporter, I have to say that Ron Paul is a man I could respect as the victor in an election against Obama. I may disagree with some his views, but I can at least respect them because they are well formed and highly informed. Most GOP candidates don't have that asset. The GOP needs more RP's and less Sarah Palins. RP represents the best of conservatism. In the past few decades, we have only seen the worst.

I can't forsee Obama messing up more than Bush did, and really that will already be a huge positive for the democrats in 2012. The only candidate the GOP can muster to possibly overcome the scandal of the past 8 years would as of present be Ron Paul. Sarah Palin would mean a huge LOSS of independent voters.

The GOP will never support Ron Paul because he's against the military industrial complex and for the end of the drug war. The Christian right hate him.
Paul is a true conservative with integrity like Barry Goldwater. There was a time when conservatives wanted a smaller less intrusive central government. The fact that Bush created a Home Land Security branch that spies on U.S. citizens and starts wars based on preemption is Goldwater's worse nightmare.
Paul is the last of a dying breed.

If you knew what sorts of things the US department of education does in washington you might think differently. The people who run the US department of education should be convicted of CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY (or child abuse at the least) for the policies they push in the US. Their policies have turned american public schools into moron factories, and continue to destroy the country's intellectual capital. Now the same sorts of policies are pushed in schools Europe UK, France,even Germany.
