Agreed completely. I've been listening to Little Feat since the summer of 1976, and I fell in love with their music. The "Last Record Album" had just come out, and I was genuinely impressed by the entire Album.

They were great with Lowell and without him. I never got to see him but I saw them twice after he checked out. They were wonderful live and studio quality on stage. Such a pleasure to hear such an ensemble

Lowell was the best singer this group ever had, although Craig Fuller comes really close.
This might be sexism on my part, but I do not think that Shaun Murphy is as good as either of them. Oh, I really do wish that she was though. They always sound best in small venues, and I do believe that Barrer's slide finally equals Lowell's.
Note: All of these are opinons and I would not be surprised if anyone disagreed with me.

wish they'd always have Lowell.but,his incredible style lives on.saw them night before Lowell passed.stunned after the best ever in 70's.trying to pass the influence on to my sons to keep trying to make music even without the incredible L.G./his infamous overalls? hope music/talent/song writing/goes on?new musicians try to imitate old bands/style. If we don't give them a chance/criticize attempts.all left is screaming/rap?embrace young musicians who admire/try to emulate the classics

They are just so good aren't they? I've seen them a few times over here in Europe and they were quite simply brilliant! This is probably one of my favourites, although I must admit that I am partial to "Time loves a hero"
