totally. Reality tv, along with soap operas are a CONSTANT distraction.. they anchor people to there sofas night after night, gawping into the idiot box when they could be doing things to better there body and mind. Its TV to dumb us down, the governments/media want a nation of stupid people.

This is absolutely amazing and sooooo unbelieveably true- that show that Andy's on there is the perfect setting for this amazing monologue- a good for nothing rubbish show with Z List "celebrities" "trying to cut hair"- there are millions of shows like it and why would you waste your life watching that shit! Unbelievable, this scene has changed the way i will look at reality tv forever!! Not that it was great to begin with, but regardless of how shit it is it is almost impossible not to get drawn into it. The reason people say this scene is powerful and moving isn't because of his attack on celebrity culture. It's the fact that Andy is realising and admitting for the first time that he's sold out his beliefs and turned into a jerk and possibly lost his only friend. It's because he's baring his soul and showing his shame and guilt for everyone to see. That's what this scene was about.
