ok, take notes
with a manual drivline you lose boost pressure while shifting, with an automatic you dont lose boost pressure during shifts and its much easier to launch an automatic at the dragstrip.
Stock for stock racing, a manual will beat the shit out of an automatic. but once u start modding its a whole new ball game

the reason why people also dump mautomatics into there cars after like 700 - 800 rwhp is because its just way to expensive to make a manual transmission withstand that power but yes they can withstand it, thats y they have automatics its cheapier....and about the boost preussure....depends on whos driving, if your power shifting then you wont lose anything itll feel like an automatic but if you granny shift well then you do lose boost pressure
