i never said that. people feel they must defend their own identity by putting down anothers. i dont know who this other australian is, i dont agree that americans are to blame for all or that anyone has the right to insult them (or anyone else). Point me to a nation without some kind of suspect past. i dislike the way you all throw things at eachother ("well if it wasnt for us americans..", "look at u australians..." etc) its all the same shit and leads to the same sectarianism in our society.

we place ourselves in the boundaries of our own nations, skin colour and beliefs, we identify with them as us. The problem is then we start to see others differently and then we begin to judge them based these conventions. we are all the same human beings. i was reacting to the general call of "all aussies are...."
so dont go telling me how my nation relies on yours - im not interested - australia is where i live not who i am. if i would have beeen speaking japanese then so be it.

There is a whole documented story behind all of this, in many cases, written in Europeans own hand, by the millions. No official apology or compensation has ever been offered to those who lost everything. American Indians today are treated like nothing more than mascots. Call me crazy, but it's all true.
