Im sure its just me but i liked the straight forward version that Mr legend sings here much more than some of the other more dramatic, drawn out, more "gospel" sounding versions. In fact he and Mr Anthony Hamilton have that vibe to sing gospel related songs without the vocal theatrics sometimes heard in gospel music, and as a new listener to more soulful gospel music it draws me in. Like I said it might just be me.

I respect and understand and respect your opinion, but you must remember this is a gospel song it was birthed in the church. Though I don't reject the fact that gospel does have a distinctive "sound" I like this version, because it is gospel, pure and simple.
