i myself believe that it is more important to love the person you are married to rather than marrying the person you love. But u cant say that culture comes first, maybe from a the sub indian continent, but in islam there can be no limits to the people who one can marry based on ethnicity,nationality or caste. This is quite different to the teachings of islam. You are saying that culture is more important than the deen.

it's not about downing women. it's about society's roles. today, women are so interested in "careers" that the nuclear family doesn't even exist, not in america. no more mom taking care of the kids. you now have stranger babysitters raising children. home cooked food? forget about it. eat microwave food. family time? what's that?
