i do pray for the love of my life who is headed over there this january with his unit, and i pray for the people who are there now, and i pray for the ones who dont make it and i pray for their family and friends each and everynight, and yeah, this war is for freedom, but its for so much more then that, people will call it whatever they want, war on terror, war for oil, there are diffrent names for it, call it what you wish.

War is never nice there is always loses on both sides. In WW 2 Canadians & the brit's were the first in & the US later ,in the first part it was the canadians & the brit's that had the highest loses in deep ,but the US fought japan later on so they had just as many if not more loses in the pacific theater. But canadians were in the korean war & some in vietnam. But the reasons for war now days are greatly blured & mostly political instead of real reasons like genocide.

For some, the ultimate price is given...May God keep watch over our soldiers and keep them safe from harms way...We are in a different time, America faces its challenges..but let our love of country never be lessened through it all.

I watched Saving Private Ryan, I could barely watch it, knowing I was not wanting to be involved with war whatsoever, but I would step on the line today if I had to.
I would be as scared as the rest of them, but I would take it in control knowing I am doing the right thing..
and I don't need countries other than mine on here saying it's stupid.. I know. But sometimes we have to put life on the line if none other can.
