Pakistan's coalition government is in danger of collapse after Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister who heads the coalition's second largest faction, pulled out of the government.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Sharif said he was quitting the partnership between his PML-N party and the Pakistan People's Party, the PPP.
Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from Islamabad.

no more mister. musharraf has tarnished the military so badly, that if it takes over now, ppl will take up arms and fight the bastards instead of distributing sweets. we have seen enough of military rule and enough of corrupt politicians like zardari and ppp. next elections nawaz will get 2/3 majority again cos of his principled stand on judiciary, whenever they r held.
Zadari doesn't even have a college degree. He has an "honorary" degree from some institution, which means he has no real degree.
It's obvious that Benazir was the brains of the outfit.
But alas, I'm an outsider, so it's up to Pakistanis to decide who is best for them!
